Good afternoon Fellow Members,
Led by Committee chairs, Jim Barrick (909-9463), and Rocky Nagel (523-2143), planning efforts are well under way for our 40th Antique and Classic Boat Show September 7th - September 9th.
We are looking forward to returning the tradition of sharing fellowship in the appreciation of antique and classic boats again this year to Buffalo Launch Club on Grand Island. This years featured boat is the Dart Boats of Toledo Ohio. (oldboatsbuffalo.org for more info.)
Our member participation has made each boat show an event to remember through generations! We would like to welcome members again to participate in continuing the tradition of hosting one of the biggest, and greatest ACBS boat shows!
Areas available for member participation include a wide variety of skills and talents- to meet all members' special qualities. In addition to behind the scenes preparations, options to assist under the direction of coordinating chairman on the days of the show, are short 1 hour, 2hour, or 3 hour blocks of time needed each day of the show. Several members are needed to fill each of the needed time slots.

Membership, and Ships Store: coordination: Margie Marasco, Elane Rubach 2 hour shifts, 15 minute overlap
Registration: coordination: Jennifer Kelly- preparation gift bags, and distribution, name bands, welcome, etc. 9/7, 9/8
Land Display:coordination Eric Feathers. assist in direction,location of boats on land, 2 hour shifts,9/7,9/8
Outboards: coordination: Dave Albertson and Steve Rubach, Sat. 9/8
Vendor Tents: coordination: Joe Marasco, 2 hour shifts, Sat 9/8
Field of Dreams: coordination: OPEN
Slip assignments/Docking: coordination : Andy Chudy: people needed from noon-5 on 9/7 and 7-10 am 9/8
Launch and Retrieve: coordination: Rob Mikulec 3hour shifts, Fri, 9/7, Sat 9/8, Sun 9/7
Safety: coordination: Craig Thrasher
Children Activities: coordination: Margie Marasco 1 hour blocks, Sat 9/8 from 12 noon to 4pm
Youth Judging: coordination: Rhonda Reed, 2 hours, Sat. 9/8 11am-1pm
Parking: *in coordination with launch club members, Sat. 9/8
Basket Raffle: **Donate a themed basket to raffle on Sat evening- have ready for pick up/delivery to boat shop by Wed. Sept 5th
Awards: coordination:Jerry Ciesielski, Mick Griffin, and Jerry Ciesielski, Sat 9/8
Parade Around Grand Island: coordination: Larry Robinson, ** Sun 9/9 JOIN with your boat, or ride on a member boat !
