Welcome Letter from Show Chairman and Chapter President:

July, 2016

Welcome to the 39th Annual Antique and Classic Boat Show held in conjunction with the Buffalo Maritime Festival. This is our second year of having our event at Canalside located in downtown Buffalo. (44 Prime St for GPS users!). Not only are we at a different location but with a new date. The show is being held on August 26, 27, 28. Set up begins at 8 am on Friday and the show opens to the public at 5pm and runs until 8pm. Show hours on Saturday are 10 am to 8 pm and 10am to 5 pm on Sunday.

Canalside organizers have arranged for the world renown 50’ Giant Yellow Rubber Duck to be a feature attraction at this year’s event.

We will be having nautical and history related seminars on both days, a large artisan market on Saturday, musical entertainment, children’s activities, and a buffet/award dinner at the new VIP tent on Saturday evening.

Besides a variety of wooden boats we will also host a vintage car show on both Saturday and Sunday. Boats will be displayed in the water as well on the newly expanded wooden boardwalk. Model boats will be in action on the faux canals at the old Aud Site.

All and all, it will be an action packed weekend. So make your plans to “Shuffle Off To Buffalo” - Downtown at Canalside that is!
